There is a sentence or two in the preface to John Wesley's first volume of sermons, in which the great evangelist gives us the secret of his method of Bible-study. "Here am I," he says, "far from the busy ways of men. I sit down alone; only God is here. In His presence I open, I read His Book; for this end—to find the way to heaven. Does anything appear dark or intricate? I lift my heart to the Father of Lights. I then search after and consider parallel passages of Scripture, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. I meditate thereon with all the attention and earnestness of which my mind is capable. And what I thus learn, that I teach." To Wesley, then, there were two great realities—the visible Book, and its invisible but ever-present Author; and to a man of his training and susceptibilities the one would have been an enigma without the other. He saw God at the beginning of every section of Holy Scripture.
Hermeneutics - Biblical Interpretation: Correct Doctrine Is Important!
Roy B. Zuck says of biblical interpretation:
The first step, observation, asks What does it say? The second step, interpretation, asks the question, What does it mean? The third step, application, raises the question, How does it apply to me?
Mr. Zuck continues, quoting:
Conflicting interpretations of many passages abound. For example, one person reads John 10:28, "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand," and understands that verse to be teaching eternal security. Others read the same verse and explain that though no one can snatch a Christian out of God's hand, the believer may remove himself from God's hand by persistent sin. Some people suggest that Paul's statement in Colossians 1:15 that Christ is "the Firstborn over all creation" means He was created. Others understand the verse to be saying that like a firstborn son in a family He is the Heir. Some Christians practice so-called speaking in tongues, based on 1 Corinthians 12-14. Others read the same chapters and understand that this practice was only for the Apostolic Age and not for today. Some have read Nahum 2:4, "The chariots storm through the streets, rushing back and forth through the squares," and have concluded that this verse was prophesying heavy automobile traffic in our cities today. In the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), some have sought to give a "spiritual meaning to the passage by explaining that the inn to which the Samaritan took the injured man represents the church and that the two silver coins given to the innkeeper represent the two ordinances of the Lord's Supper and water baptism.
The Mormon leader Brigham Young justified his having more than 30 wives by pointing to the fact that Abraham had more than 1 wife, namely, Sarah and Hagar. The Mormon practice of being baptized for dead relatives and others is based, they argue, on 1 Corinthians 15:29. Some people handle poisonous snakes, based on their reading of Mark 16:18. Whether women should teach men is based on how one interprets 1 Corinthians 11:5; 14:34-35; and 1 Timothy 2:12. Some teach that Christ's present reign in heaven means He will not establish a 1,000-year reign on the earth after His return. Others, however, say the Bible teaches that Christ, through reigning over the universe now, will manifest His kingdom in a physical way when He rules as Messiah over the nation of Israel on earth in the Millennium.
All these - and many others - are matters of interpretation. Obviously these various conflicting views point up that not all readers are following the same principles for understanding the Bible.
"You can make the Bible say anything you want," some argue. ... Of course it is true that people can make the Bible say anything they wish so long as they disregard normal approaches for understanding written documents.
Now, if you have paid close attention, you may have noticed that Mr. Zuck uses the NIV and the NASB versions of the Holy Bible, rather than the King James Version that I believe is much more accurate, and truest to the autograph. That's not good in my opinion. However, Dr. Zucks's above examples introducing problems in biblical interpretation are well stated. In questionable wordings and interpretations please compare the inferior versions to the 1611 King James Authorized version and the 1568 Bishops Bible. Research various commentary opinions, and if you are able to, explore the Hebrew, Chaldee and Greek in some word studies. Understanding correct doctrine, and recognizing incorrect doctrine, is important!
About Inferior & Corrupted Bible Versions
There are two approaches to translating the Bible and it’s important to understand the difference between the two, and which version of the Bible has used which translation method. The two methods of translation are:
Formal Equivalence – This is where the text is translated as literally as possible (word for word where available) from the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, into English. This method minimises the possibility of the translator inserting or projecting their own interpretations into passages.
Dynamic Equivalence – This is less of a direct translation in favour of a more thought-for-thought method. It attempts to convey the thought expressed in the text rather than what the text actually says. Some would argue that this method produces a more readable or understandable version, but others would argue that this method sometimes results in a “this is what I think it means” approach by the author(s) rather than translating what the text actually says.
Some Bible versions use solely the method of Formal Equivalence, whilst some use solely the method of Dynamic Equivalence. Then there are some that use a mixture of the two methods. It may therefore be helpful at this stage if I list which method of translation is used by which version.

The Message
Are all versions preaching the same Message? [Absolutely Not!]
... Satan does not hate all versions of the Bible and it would be naïve to suggest that he does. For example, Satan absolutely loves the Mormon Bible, the New World Translation used by Jehovah Witnesses and the New Age Bible called the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ. Satan loves any distortion of God’s precious Word, no matter how big or small that distortion may be and I believe that The Message is a staggeringly dangerous distortion of Scripture.
King James Bible
In 1604, King James I of England authorised a new English translation of the Bible be created. It was finished in 1611; just 85 years after William Tyndale’s first translation of the New Testament into English appeared in 1526. In the preface to the 1611 edition, translators of the King James Bible stated that it was not their purpose “to make a new translation… but to make a good one better.” The King James Bible quickly became the standard for English speaking Protestants.
Translation of the King James Bible was done by 47 scholars, all of whom were members of the Church of England. In common with the original German Luther Bible and the translation of the New Testament into English by William Tyndale, the King James Bible New Testament was translated directly from the Textus Receptus (Greek for Received Text) series of the Greek texts.
The Old Testament of the King James Bible was translated directly from the Masoretic text, which is the authoritative Hebrew text of the Jewish Bible regarded almost universally as the official version of the Tanakh, the sacred book of Judaism, consisting of the Torah (law of Moses), the Prophets (the Neviim) and the Writings (the Chetuvim). In modern times the Dead Sea Scrolls have shown the Masoretic text to be nearly identical to some texts of the Tanakh dating from 200 BC, proving them to be staggeringly reliable to the original.
For nearly 400 years, and through several revisions of the original, the King James Bible has been widely respected for its precision translation from the original languages. This has unfortunately also lead many people to claim that the 1611 King James Bible is the only true translation, which is a claim I personally do not subscribe to. Most likely without even realising it, these people are rarely actually in possession of the 1611 Authorised Version of the King James Bible. Instead they will have the more readable 1769 version [an interesting video], which (quite rightly) excludes the Apocrypha.
Truthfully, there is that third way of "translating" the Bible. That third way is to deliberately include garbage agenda study notes and to mistranslate the Bible to match an agenda, such as the so-called "Queen James Bible" does. It is an evil monstrosity, deliberately altered, with worldly error and sexual deviancy edited into it. If there ever was a case for burning books, this is it.
The sexual perverts beloved QJV is advertized this way:
A Gay Bible
The Queen James Bible is based on The King James Bible, edited to prevent homophobic misinterpretation.
Homosexuality in The Bible
Homosexuality was first mentioned in the Bible in 1946, in the Revised Standard Version. There is no mention of or reference to homosexuality in any Bible prior to this - only interpretations have been made. Anti-LGBT Bible interpretations commonly cite only eight verses in the Bible that they interpret to mean homosexuality is a sin; Eight verses in a book of thousands!
The Queen James Bible seeks to resolve interpretive ambiguity in the Bible as it pertains to homosexuality: We edited those eight verses in a way that makes homophobic interpretations impossible.
Who is Queen James?
The King James Bible is the most popular Bible of all time, and arguably the most important English language document of all time. It is the brainchild and namesake of King James I, who wanted an English language Bible that all could own and read. The KJV, as it is called, has been in print for over 400 years and has brought more people to Christ than any other Bible translation. Commonly known to biographers but often surprising to most Christians, King James I was a well-known bisexual. Though he did marry a woman, his many gay relationships were so well-known that amongst some of his friends and court, he was known as "Queen James." It is in his great debt and honor that we name The Queen James Bible so.
A Fabulous Bible
The QJB is a big, fabulous Bible. It is printed and bound in the United States on thick, high-quality paper in a beautiful, readable typeface. It is the perfect Bible for ceremony, study, sermon, gift-giving, or simply to put on display in the home or Church.
You can’t choose your sexuality, but you can choose Jesus. Now you can choose a Bible, too.
So, you can't choose your sexuality? I think the ungodly LGBTQ+ crowd has tried to revise that position. Obviously, after examining the information in the two links in the QJV article, that bible is not a bible approved of by God. Any so-called church or so-called minister claiming the Bible does not teach against practicing homosexuality, is an idiot, unlearned or a liar when it comes to genuine Bible-based Christian doctrine.
Romans 16:17-18 - Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Versions Pushed By Reformed Calvinist's: The ESV and LSB
Canonization began with Moses and ended with the Apostle John. Others have also played a significant role in canonizing the Scriptures. It is accepted that several of the prophets collected and compiled portions of the Old Testament. Jewish traditions tell us Samuel assembled the book of Judges. It is evident Samuel added to the book of Deuteronomy: 1 Samuel 10:25 shows that God directed Samuel to write into a book the laws concerning the establishment of the monarchy; what we have left of that book is found in Deuteronomy 17:14-20. It is also believed that Isaiah and Jeremiah most likely compiled 1 and 2 Kings. Sections from Isaiah and Jeremiah are repeated verbatim in Kings.
From the Bible’s very beginning, God saw to its protection. Although we don’t know much about the most ancient times, Jewish tradition tells us that Noah preserved and protected the genealogical records given to us in Genesis 5. The first formal record of the charge to protect the Bible doesn’t appear until the time of Moses. He charged the Levites with the task: “And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, that Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee” (Deuteronomy 31:24-26). Moses commanded the Levites to keep the books he had completed under God’s inspiration right with the ark of the covenant. The ark was the national symbol of the nation’s covenant with God. On the lid of the ark was the mercy seat, a representation of God’s throne. Keeping the Scriptures with the ark demonstrated to the people that the books were the very Word of God and should be closely guarded, respected and—even more—obeyed!
The men most responsible for the canonization of what we know as the Old Testament today were Ezra, Nehemiah and the body of priests and elders known as the Great Assembly. This great assembly consisted of 120 men of whom Ezra was the chief. Among its members are said to have been Daniel and his three friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They pulled together all of God’s revelation to that point into one complete book. At that time, the Old Testament was preserved on 22 scrolls.
When the King James Old Testament was established, it was separated into 39 books and reorganized into three basic classifications of law, history and poetry. This was not a correct structuring of the true text. Essentially, translators chopped up the Bible, introducing confusion.
Originally, the three divisions into which these scrolls were put were the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms, or Writings. These three divisions of the Old Testament are known as the tripartite. Jesus Christ confirmed that the Old Testament was complete in these three divisions. Just after His resurrection He told the disciples, “These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me” (Luke 24:44).
Tripartite Division of the Old Testament
ORGANIZING THE BOOKS
The order of the books of the Hebrew Scriptures, as Christ would have known them, was according to the tripartite division: the Law, the Prophets, the Writings.
THE LAW (TORAH)
The Law includes the five books of the Pentateuch (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy).
THE PROPHETS (NEVI’IM)
The Prophets comprises the Former Prophets (Joshua, Judges, 1 and 2 Samuel [counted as one book], 1 and 2 Kings [counted as one book]) and the Latter Prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, the Twelve Minor Prophets [counted as one book]).
THE WRITINGS (KETHUVIM)
The Writings consists of Psalms, Proverbs, Job, the Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther, Daniel, Ezra-Nehemiah (counted as one book), 1 and 2 Chronicles (counted as one book)—24 books in total.
The one truly amazing fact about the Bible is there is not one inconsistency or conflict in doctrine. There is one homogeneous doctrinal thread that runs throughout the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. This fact alone demonstrates that one divine mind orchestrated the writing of the Bible.
Except for the KJV, all of the other 200 plus modern translations are derived out of the Alexandrian text, which has 44-50ish manuscripts. Those 44 manuscripts are not all complete, and they not only grossly contradict the majority text, but they even contradict each other.
The KJV was translated out of the majority text, which came down from Antioch. It has 5,400 manuscripts that all perfectly agree with each other.
The KJV is the only modern version that translate 2nd Timothy 2:14-16 correctly: “Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Rightly dividing has a very specific meaning. It means to divide (separate, make a distinction between) truth from truth. It means to separate God’s word, from God’s word, distinguishing between God’s different dispensations and gospels. All of the other modern translations butcher these two verses, completely changing the meaning. This has lead to an enormous amount of confusion, denominationalism and legalism.
Paul makes it abundantly clear, that he is the apostle to the gentiles, during this dispensation of grace, and that he was the first to reveal his gospel given directly to him by the risen Jesus. He said it was a mystery kept hidden by God, until He revealed it to Paul. He said that his gospel fulfilled the word of God. He was adamant the we refute any gospels or doctrines the conflict with his gospel.
Galatians 1:8 - But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Romans 16:25 - Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
Ephesians 3:2 - If ye have heard of the Dispensation of the grace of God which is given Me to you-ward:
Colossians 1:25 - Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God;
1st Timothy 1:16 - Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all long-suffering, for a pattern to them which should Hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

The Holy Bible is the Word of God, "God-breathed" through the inspired pens of men for our benefit. Everyone should take time to study it's wonderful truths and wisdom. There is much to be learned.
The Bible answers the three questions that every person has: 1. Where did I come from? 2. Why am I here? 3. Where am I going? You cannot get the correct answers to these questions from any source that discounts the Bible.
What is the best Bible to study? The King James Version of the Bible is the most accurate English version, the most faithful to the autographs. However, it is impossible to always perfectly translate original meanings from ancient Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek into English. Figures of speech vary in different cultures, and that and other reasons are why Bible Study is so important to arrive at better understandings of the Bible's truths.
Different cultures have different customs, speech mannerisms, and writing conventions that must be taken into account. For example, when I say "That stinks!" I might be talking about something I dislike, not about something that actually smells bad. But another culture might use a different expression to verbalize what I am implying with that phrase, and misunderstand my actual meaning.
Using the most accurate translation of the Bible is basic to successful Bible Study, and that remains the Authorized King James Version for the English language rendition. Expanding our understanding from the most accurate translation leads to a greater understanding of the original inspired autographs. The discerning Bible student recognizes "autograph inerrancy," not "translation inerrancy," and uses the most accurate translation to start with. Use a Bible Dictionary and Bible Commentaries to gain greater understandings of many passages. Of utmost importance, the Bible student should approach God respectfully in prayer when picking up God's Word to study, which will result in greater understanding and enlightenment through the Holy Spirit's influence.
Please understand that there are translations, and their are paraphrases. An honest modern Bible translation would try to follow the original wordings and meanings of the inspired autograph, but no modern version does this any better than does the King James Authorized version. Paraphrases reword the language of the autograph, and invariably show the biases and agenda's of whoever produces them, losing much of the original meanings. In many of them whole verses are deleted, completely butchered, and changed in important meanings. Modern English may be easier to read, but only at great loss to understanding accurately the Word of God and the narrow path leading to eternal security.
Infamously, many modern paraphrases, many of the dumbed down English translations, deliberately make it a point to remove indications of divinity attributed to Jesus Christ. Many people will suffer for the crime of corrupting, and adding to or deleting from, the complete revealed Word of God. The most accurate preservation of God's Revealed Word in the English language is preserved only through the Antioch line of manuscripts, not through the Alexandria line of corrupted manuscripts.
The paraphrases are invariably used to hack the original text to make a new production copyrightable. The Word of God should always be free to distribute, but dozens of "new" reworded Bible's are produced, making them the textual equivalent of the money tables overturned by Jesus outside the Temple, just satanically inspired corruptions rather than the true Word of God.
1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV) - For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Don't ally yourself with those who are selling their soul to Satan! Stick to the Authorized King James Version for accuracy. When the best is freely available, there is no sense in using something inferior and enriching evil people in the process.
That being said, please understand that no translation from one language to another language remains perfect, in the sense of word definitions that change over time. This is true of any written work, and is true of the King James version. To illustrate the kind of inaccuracies in the KJV referred to, consider the change in meaning of the word "gay" over the last few decades, and you will understand. Hence the occasional need for dictionaries and Word Studies of the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. Nothing in the King James Version is so inaccurate that correct understanding, the true Gospel Message, or the readers Salvation is prevented. Words used in the autograph and in the KJV may have changed in meaning over time, but serious Bible students take this into account and study such things out.
An excellent example of why one should stick to the King James version when using an English language Bible is found in the "Thee's, Thou's, Thy's and Thine's." Check this out at Do We Need Thee and Thou? Thy and Thine? at Let God Be True.
Sadly, the High English thee's and thou's are the most often cited reason for people buying dumbed down modern language versions of the Bible. But they do this at a loss!
The Five Sola's are five Protestant doctrinal distinctive's the Reformers expressed to demonstrate accurate Biblical theology and practice as opposed to inaccurate Roman Catholic theology and practice.
After Jesus ascended to heaven and the Apostles were gone from the scene, centralization of power within the church increased as time passed. The Roman Catholic Church in Rome gradually became the dominant power in the West. Various corruptions in doctrine and practice developed. The men who became known as the Protestant Reformers recognized these problems and wanted to reform the Roman Catholic church by returning it to biblicly sound doctrine and practices, back to the Christianity practiced as portrayed by Jesus and the Apostles and the early church during its first three hundred years. It didn't happen. These men were soon recognized as the leaders of the Reformation, persecuted, many hunted down and killed, and the escaping groups of these dissenters thus split with the Roman Catholic church and established Protestantism.
The reformers rejected the authority of the Pope as well as many of the principles and practices of Catholicism of that time. The essential tenets of the Reformation are that the Bible is the sole authority for all matters of faith and conduct and that salvation is by God's grace and by faith in Jesus Christ. Source: The First Amendment Encyclopedia ... Throughout the middle ages the Catholic Church was involved in scandals, corruption (being dishonest) and conflict. The Protestant "literal" interpretaion of Scripture is called "Fundamentalism," and the Roman Catholic church denounces this method of Bible interpretation. The Roman Catholic Magisterium is ultimately responsible for biblical interpretation in the Catholic Church. The still-corrupted Roman Catholic church is still trying to reclaim the Protestant churches. And, sadly, many Protestant churches are adopting the path that leads back to the Roman Catholic so-called "Mother Church," which is actually the "broad path" leading to destruction.
The Five Solae: The five solas state that "Christians are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone."
Sola Scriptura - "Scripture Alone"
Sola Scriptura is the doctrinal distinctive that says only the Bible is the authoritative Word of God, and rejects any infallible authority other than the Bible. Sola Scriptura implies that divine revelation to the Church ceased when Paul the Apostle passed away, thus excluding all supposed revelation to the Church thereafter. Since then there are no new revelations from God to the Church: all needed revelation to the Church is found in the Bible autographs. Spurious new books purporting to be from God are actually fraudulent, or demonically produced. Joseph Smith, for example, used a "seer stone" placed into his hat, where he could supposedly see one letter at a time, which he read to another person to record. If Smith's Book of Mormon was truly produced that way, that would have been with the assistance of a demon, what the secular unsaved world today calls a "spirit guide" in common parlance. A modern example of this is Hillary Clinton who talks with a demonic spirit pretending to be Eleanor Roosevelt. Today there are no Apostles like the Twelve or like Paul. Today there is no further revelation to the Church at large. Today we have the most accurate translation of God's Word in English in the Authorized King James Version. No other spurious, extra-biblical, modern production claiming to be subsequent additional inspired scripture is from God.
Personal revelation, as opposed to new revelation to the Church, still happens. For example there are numerous reports of dreams, visions and the appearance of Jesus to Muslims in the Middle East, resulting in the conversion of many, many people. Prayers for healing and miracles can still produce genuine healing and miracles, but not from fraudulent and greedy, demonically influenced people like Benny Hinn or Kenneth Copeland. If Hinn or Copeland could effect genuine healing they could be working in hospitals instead of performing at what I call "church shows": But they can't and they don't! Fraudulent continuations of supposed new revelation to the Church is personified by the Mormon church, where new revelation is a necessary ingredient to falsely validate bogus doctrine, Joseph Smith Jr's Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the mutilated so-called "Inspired Version" (RLDS/Community of Christ) of the Bible, plus the continued supposed new revelations of the current LDS and Community of Christ leadership.
Many false churches and their con artist leaders, and many ungodly businesses, push corrupted Bible sales through their false ministries. Why? To make a buck! Large Bible stores provide numerous copyrighted alternate Bible versions and paraphrases for the gullible and unsuspecting prospective Bible student. Why? To make a buck! Be warned! Stick to the "tried and true."
Sola Fide - "Faith Alone"
Justification sola fide is the doctrinal distinctive that says justification is by faith alone, a soteriological doctrine in Christian theology commonly held to distinguish the Lutheran and Reformed traditions of Protestantism, among others, from the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and Assyrian churches. Most Protestants, and the Reformed Calvinists, agree that salvation is by "faith alone," not requiring works or any other action. This is correct. Other works, other ordinances, not Baptism nor anything else, is required for salvation. This view is over-complicated by many, however, who insist that repentance is first required. I venture to suggest that some people come to a belief in Jesus, that He died and rose again from the grave, and then ascended into heaven, before they repented of their sins. Repentance can come after belief! There are sins one recognizes almost immediately and there are sins one recognizes later, following additional spiritual growth. Belief is by Faith. Genuine conversion usually produces works of one kind or another, but it is one's faith in Jesus that saves. The "act of believing" should not be counted as a work because we are given free will to believe or not believe in Jesus as Lord, God and Savior. Beware the Reformed Calvinist slant that says otherwise.
Acts 16:29-32 - Then he [the jailer] called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
Sola Gratia - "Grace Alone"
Sola gratia is the doctrinal distinctive that says salvation is by "divine grace" and by "unmerited favor." The Lutheran and Reformed Calvinist perspective is that the sinner does not deserve, and can not earn, this unmerited favor.
During the Protestant Reformation, Lutheran and Calvinist theologians generally believed that the Catholic doctrine of the means of grace was a mixture of reliance upon the grace of God and confidence in the merits of one's own works performed in love, pejoratively called "legalism". These Reformers posited that salvation is entirely comprehended in God's gifts (that is, God's act of free grace), dispensed by the Holy Spirit according to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ alone.
Consequently, they argued that a sinner is not accepted by God on account of the change wrought in the believer by God's grace, and indeed, that the believer is accepted without any regard for the merit of his works—for no one deserves salvation; at the same time, they condemned the extreme of antinomianism, a doctrine that argues that if someone is saved, he/she has no need to live a holy life, given that salvation is already "in the bag". It is also linked to the five points of Calvinism.
The Eastern Orthodox Churches affirm salvation by grace, teaching:
So we, as Orthodox Christians, affirm as clearly and unambiguously as any Lutheran, for example, that “salvation is by grace” and not by our works. Unlike medieval Catholicism, Orthodoxy does not hold that a person can build up a “treasury of merits” that will count in our favor at the Judgment Seat of Christ. What will matter then is our having surrendered our sin to God through confession, and our gestures of love (Mt. 25), together with the unshakable conviction that “Jesus Christ is Lord,” and the unique Way to eternal life.
Being synergists, those of Wesleyan–Arminian soteriology, such as Methodists, take a different approach to sola gratia than Lutherans and Reformed Christians, holding that God, through prevenient grace, reaches out to all individuals though they have the free will to cooperate with that grace or reject it.
Repeating the bottom line regarding Sola Gratia: Wesleyan–Arminian and Methodist soteriology differ in belief regarding sola gratia from Lutherans and Reformed Calvinists. They believe that God, through prevenient grace, reaches out to all individuals, and that all individuals have the free will to cooperate with that grace or reject it.
Solus Christus - "Christ Alone"
Solus Christus is the doctrinal distinctive that says salvation is by faith in Christ alone;
Through the atoning work of Jesus Christ alone, apart from individual works, and that Christ is the only mediator between God and man. It holds that salvation cannot be obtained without Christ.
This is in opposition to Catholic doctrine which Mary, mother of Jesus is also mediator between God and humanity (Mediatrix).
This is correct. Jesus says that He is the only way to salvation. Therefore, anyone preaching another gospel, be it Joseph Smith, the Freemasons, any New Ager, any "wolf in sheeps clothing" preacher, or any sweet-talking politician, is a liar headed for Hell. Jesus is the only religious figure that rose from the grave alive! No one else has done so!
John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
1 Timothy 2:5 - For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Acts 4:10-12 - Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Soli Deo gloria is a Latin term for Glory to God alone... As a doctrine, it means that everything is done for God's glory to the exclusion of mankind's self-glorification and pride. Christians are to be motivated and inspired by God's glory and not their own... Together with sola fide, sola gratia, sola scriptura and solus Christus, the phrase has become part of what is known as the Five Solae, a summary statement of central tenets of the Protestant Reformation.
It should be obvious that our worship should be only to God. Only God is worthy of our worship. We can't even fully comprehend a God so worthy of praise, worship and glory! How mighty is our King that created the earth and all life upon it. How incredible is our God who is omnipresent and all-knowing! Look around and try as one might to find a person or object to worship instead of God the Father, Jesus the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit, and one will be sorely disappointed. Nothing, no one, and no thing can compare to the Kingly majesty of our one-and-only Christian God! He is God, and there is no other!
2nd Timothy 2:15-16 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
A basic fact about "rightly dividing the Word" is to understand that Jesus and the Twelve Apostles were sent to the nation of Israel, and that the Apostle Paul was afterward sent to everyone else. The Jewish majority rejected Jesus as their Messiah, ending the Dispensation of Law at the Crucifixtion. Those that did not reject Jesus as Messiah soon discovered that the Apostle Paul was sent to shepherd the new Church and to add believing Gentiles to the Jewish nucleus. Only then did the twelve also begin witnessing to the unsaved Gentiles. This involves two different Dispensations, Law and Grace, these Dispensations being addressed in more detail below. See Biblical Dispensational Premillennialism below, Dispensational Ages #5 and #6.
Rightly dividing the Word, comprehending that Dispensations are very real, prevents one from falling into the belief that the Church will keep getting better and better, and when good enough, will be met by the return of Jesus. No, the world and the false Church will get worse and worse, until God says the Dispensation of Grace has come to an end, the Rapture occurs, and the seven year Tribulation Period begins. This Ecumenical Movement of the Church getting better and better is a damnable lie!
One must always remember that some parts of the Bible are directed only to the nation of Israel, some parts are directed only to the Church, and some parts are directed only to the rest of humanity who are the Gentile unsaved. Yes, some things, some examples and parables, can be applied instructively to everyone as with the Gospel Message. But we are wrong to say Israel morphed into the Church, because it did not. The destinies of Israel and the Church are very different through the Millenium and until eternity.
Only in eternity do the destinies of the nation of Israel and the Church apparently come together, and I say that with the disclaimer that I believe we know very little about what will be during Eternity. I'm sure much more about the future will be revealed by God when the time is right.
Rightly dividing the Word means using proper Bible Study methods, methods that have been tried and found true over time. Check out the How To Study The Bible link.
Returning to the Basic Bible Interpretation by Roy B. Zuck, we see the following list of interpretation problems he addresses: The Cultural Gap, the Grammatical Gap, the Literary Gap, Figures of Speech, Types and Symbols, Parables and Allegories, Prophecy, and the Use of the Old Testament in the New Testament.
Obviously, Bible Study can be approached from many different angles, from these mentioned and from many more.
What about Lordship Salvation? It is close to correct as presented in the next link, but off the mark in its Reformed Calvinist aspect as stated in points #2 and #9. It is my belief that saving faith is not like flypaper one steps on, that one can't get loose from. Temptation can always be yielded to, Decipleship abandoned, and allegience to our Lord Jesus rejected, so long as we live.
Works are a logical result of salvation, but not an absolute requirement as witness to others! The one thief on the cross next to Jesus was promised salvation without any time to do good works. Others who live beyond their acceptance of the Gospel Message generally do good works as they are led by the Holy Spirit to do so. People are saved by grace, not by works, and, some, like the one thief on the cross next to Jesus, are saved even though they have no good works.
Rightly dividing the Word means understanding that most people who believe one can lose their salvation are not saying that one can sin Saturday night and repent Sunday morning time after time. In my opinion it really means one can make a deliberate and permanent choice to reject Jesus, and the Gospel Message, thus losing their salvation. I know of a woman who lost her husband to lung cancer, and it made her bitter toward the whole world. Not only does she reject Jesus, but she also remains angry at the cashiers that sold her husband cigarettes. She has permanently rejected belief in Jesus, in God, I suspect to her eternal undoing.
Dispensational premillennialism generally holds that Israel and the Church are distinct entities. It also widely holds to the pretribulational return of Christ, which believes that Jesus will return to take up Christians into heaven by means of a rapture immediately before a seven-year worldwide tribulation.
A dispensation is a period of time, or an age, on the present earth during which God tests man's obedience to His will by means of some specific standard of conduct. It should be noted that man has been saved by grace through faith in each dispensation. They all believed God for what He said.
The word dispensation is mentioned in the Authorised version four times:
1st Corinthians 9:17 - For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
Ephesians 1:10 - That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him...
Ephesians 3:2 - If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward...
Colossians 1:25 - Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God...
The seven dispensations are:
1. the Age of Innocence, beginning at Genesis 1:28 and ending at Genesis 3:22;
2. the Age of Conscience, beginning at Genesis 3:23 and ending at Genesis 8:22;
3. the Age of Human Government, beginning at Genesis 9:1 and ending at Genesis 11:9;
4. the Age of Promise, beginning at Genesis 12:1 and ending at Exedus 19:2
5. the Age of Law, beginning at Exodus 19:3 and ending at the Cross (Matt. 27:35);
6. the Age of Grace, the church age ending at the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Tribulation will be a time of judgment between the Rapture and the Lords return in glory (1 Thess. 4-13-17; Rev. 19:11-16);
7. the Age of the Kingdom, the "Millennium, beginning with the Lord's return in power to the earth (Rev 20:4) and ending after the completion of one thousand years, the doom of Satan, and the judgment of the Great White Throne (Rev. 20:7-15), when the Lord Jesus Christ will deliver up the kingdom to God (1 Cor. 15:24), and there will be a new heaven and a new earth (Rev. 21:1).
Many dispensationalists designate Eternity, the New Heaven and Earth, as an eighth dispensation. This is commonly called The Dispensation of the Fullness of Times. See The 8 Dispensations Of The Bible.
Unconditional Election (No conditions to be saved)
Limited Atonement (Christ only died for certain people)
Irresistible Grace (You can't say no to the Holy Spirit)
Perseverance of the Saints (Must endure to be saved)
The 5 points (T.U.L.I.P.) of Calvinism are false doctrine and lies from the pit of hell. All of them are hostile to Paul’s Gospel of Christ, revealed to him by Jesus. All of them are based on scriptures taken out of context by men who do not believe in or teach "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2nd Timothy 2:15), as we are told by the apostle Paul.
The statement, "rightly dividing the word of truth" by Paul, is found only in the KJV and NKJV. The ESV, which is what Calvinists use, plus all other modern translations do not contain that statement, and are blatantly heretical versions in numerous ways. Additionally, John Calvin tortured and killed Baptists, and other believers who did not accept Calvin's false gospel of lies.

The Unbiblical TULIP (Five Points Of Calvinism) Stands Or Falls Together
Calvinist theology is usually identified with the five points of Calvinism – TULIP, and this concept derived around the year 1619 due to the happenings in the famous Synod of Dort. John Calvin himself died 1564, so long before the “five points of calvinism” started to be used in this way. While not all Calvinists necessarily agree with John Calvin to 100%, most of them (if not all) would agree with the five points of TULIP.
If a person chooses to believe in T in TULIP (Total Depravity) then he MUST believe in the rest of the points/letters in TULIP because TULIP stands or falls together. However, it is possible (and common) to believe only in P (which boils down to “unconditional eternal security” or “once saved always saved”) and not in the other points. There are some believers who still SAY they are 2-point/3-point/4-point calvinists but it’s not possible for obvious reasons. I can also say that I’ve encountered NO calvinists who are consistent with their own teachings. They all frequently express themselves as though man has free will to accept/reject God and that we all have an option to get saved, but this is not what their own theology allows.
The doctrines within Calvinism was originally introduced to church by Augustine (who the Roman Catholic Church views as one of their founding fathers) in the fourth century, and he taught that Christ did not die for all men but for a chosen few whom God had chosen and predestined to become His children. John Calvin revived this teaching and continued to spread this idea, and today this dangerous soul-damaging doctrine continues to spread and deceive people. This is why we must not be silent and let it spread in peace, because we are dealing with people’s SOULS here. TULIP is based on the gnostic idea that we are all born with a sinful nature, but do we get this nature according to God’s will or against his will? Calvinists will not tell us.
Total Depravity. Also called “total inability” . This doctrine asserts that every person born into the world is enslaved to sin and not by nature inclined to seek or love God. (Whose fault is that?). This means, that in order to ENABLE people to seek and find God, God must first “wake him up” from his spiritual death (calvinists wrongly use the term “regenerate”). The ones God chooses to wake up are the same as those who will get saved. This doctrine results in that 1) GOD is the one CHOOSING whom to wake up. 2) The ones he does not wake up have no chance to get saved which God is aware of 3) God does not want all to be saved because then he would have “woken up” more people 4) Most people will remain in their wicked sinful way of living only because God want them to, 4) It wouldn’t make sense for Jesus to die for people who God never intended to save, but for the elect only.
Unconditional Election. This doctrine asserts that God has chosen from before the foundation of the world those whom he will save, and this choice is not based on anything the individual does or believes (not merit, faith, etc) because it’s unconditional. Rather, this doctrine means that God’s unconditional election causes individuals TO repent and believe in him, and further that the chosen ones WILL end up in the Kingdom of God. This doctrine results in that 1) God has WITHHELD mercy from all the rest and those individuals WILL end up in hell 2) Repentance and faith are not conditions for salvation since God WITHOUT them will choose to whom he will provide the means of repenting and believing, 3) God could save everyone if he wanted but he wanted to save only some, 4) It wouldn’t make sense for Jesus to die for people who God never intended to save.
In this Illustration the Father is God the Father, and his wife is the Church.
Limited Atonement. This doctrine asserts that Jesus’ only died for a few people (the elect) and his death was CERTAIN to bring about salvation for all those he died for. This doctrine results in that 1) only the sins of the elect were covered through Jesus’ death and not the sins of the whole world, 2) God never had a goal to save “as many as possible” but only the elect, and that’s why the atonement was limited for the elect only, 3) Those who end up in hell do NOT do so for rejecting Jesus sin offering because his sin offering was never meant for them or intended for them. 4) Most individuals are born doomed (even if we can never know exactly who they are) since the atonement was never meant for them.
Irresistible Grace. This doctrine asserts that God’s desire/decision to save individuals cannot be resisted, but WILL cause them to obey his calling. This means that when God sovereignly purposes to save someone, that individual WILL be saved. The Holy Spirit causes the chosen individuals to cooperate, repent and believe. This doctrine results in that 1) God chooses who will end up in heaven or hell and we have nothing to do with this choice, 2) It’s not totally fair to say that individuals are saved through “faith” since the truth is that they are saved by ELECTION, 3) Those who are lost were never offered any grace because IF they were offered grace they wouldn’t be able to reject it,4) It’s not fair to say that individuals end up in hell due to their SINS, since they are only doomed because God never enabled them to believe in him, and he never intended to save them in the first place. This choice was made BEFORE they were born and BEFORE they could think about sinning, so sinning has nothing to do with their destiny.
Perseverance of the Saints. This doctrine asserts that the “saints” (those individuals who God has chosen to save before the foundation of the world) WILL continue in faith until the end. Those who apparently fall away either never had true faith to begin with or will return. This results in that 1) It’s impossible for an individual to at any time know if he is truly saved and “eternally secure” because if he falls away in the latter part of his life this shows “he was never saved to begin with”. 2) Individuals can safely place the responsibility to avoid sinning on GOD since HE is the one who are to “preserve” those he has chosen to save. 3) Christians might easier fall for temptations because they know they will be preserved to the end anyway, if they are among the elect (which all calvinists believe they are). 4) It can bring a false sense of security and that you can be saved in your sins.
P in TULIP is the most dangerous point since the TRUTH is that we cannot serve two masters and be saved in our sins – and Satan knows it. This doctrine might cause people to easier fall for temptations, and then their SOULS are at risk! This is a good reason to highlight the danger of Calvinism/Gnosticism to the world to prevent more people from being deceived.
When exposed to the contradictions within TULIP (which makes God the author of sin), the ordinary excuses are soon to follow:
1. God’s ways are higher than our ways!
2. Who are YOU to question GOD?
3. It’s impossible for our finite minds to fully understand the infinite mind of GOD!
4. This only seems contradictory to us – NOT to God!
5. The potter always forms the clay to what he wants!
6. I believe in paradoxes – so what? The trinity is a paradox…!
7. The Roman Catholic Church teaches like you do!
Any cult in the world can defend any contradiction at all by using the above excuses, resulting in that anything goes even if it’s totally against the Bible and makes no sense whatsoever.
NONE of the early church fathers taught against free will the first 300 years AD (this can easily be proven), and none of them taught that we are born with a sinful nature or that we are unconditionally eternally secure. ONLY the Gnostics taught such unbiblical doctrines. Calvinists have no answer for why ALL the church fathers were “wrong” (and the Gnostics actually RIGHT) for so many years until Augustine entered the scene and got it “right”. Most will say that it’s the Bible that is important for us and not the views of the church fathers, councils, etc. While it’s of course true that it’s the BIBLE that should correct us, they must still explain why both the Bible AND the early church fathers taught free will, and they must also explain why they put so much emphasis on the events in the Synod of Dort, and the unfair treatment of Pelagius in councils where he was not even present to defend himself. Suddenly councils are very important….
2 Tim. 4:2-3 - "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears."
Four people have altered the form of the genuine Christianity of the first century by introducing various aspects of Reformed Calvinism: Roman Emperor Constantine I (280?-337) who mixed Christianity with Paganism, Augustine of Hippo (354-430), Martin Luther (1483-1546) who was a Roman Catholic Augustinian monk and whose activities resulted in the start of the Reformation, and John Calvin (1509-1564) who codified Reformed Calvinism.
In the 1500s, denying the Trinity was a blasphemy that was considered worthy of death throughout Europe. Because he had written books denying the Trinity and denouncing paedobaptism, Servetus was condemned to death by the French Catholic Inquisition. Servetus escaped from prison in Vienne and fled to Italy, but stopped on the way in Geneva. After he attended a sermon by Calvin, Servetus was arrested by the city authorities. French Inquisitors asked that he be extradited to them for execution, but the officials in Geneva refused and brought him before their own heresy trial. Although Calvin believed Servetus deserving of death on account of what he termed as his “execrable blasphemies”, he wanted the Spaniard to be executed by decapitation as a traitor rather than by fire as a heretic. The Geneva council refused his request and burned Servetus at the stake with what was believed to be the last copy of his book chained to his leg.

A Checklist
Six Sociological Characteristics of Cults
I noted previously that even though cults should be defined from a theological point of view, we can nevertheless gain valuable insights into certain aspects of the cultic mentality from sociology. . . .
[1] Authoritarian Leadership
Authoritarianism involves the acceptance of an authority figure who exercises excessive control on cult members. As prophet or founder, this leader’s word is considered ultimate and final. . . .
Often this authoritarianism involves legalistic submission to the rules and regulations of the group as established by the cult leader (or, as in the case of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, submission to the Watchtower Society). Cult members are fully expected to submit, even if they do not agree with the requirements. Unquestioning obedience is compulsory.
[2] Exclusivism
Cults often believe that they alone have the truth. The cult views itself as the single means of salvation on earth; to leave the group is to endanger one’s soul. . . .
[3] Isolationism
The more extreme cults sometimes create fortified boundaries, often precipitating tragic endings (we have already mentioned the tragedies in Waco and Jonestown). Some cults require members to renounce and break off associations with parents and siblings. . . .
[4] Opposition to Independent Thinking
Some cultic groups discourage members from thinking independently. The “thinking,” as it were, has already been done for them by the cult leadership; the proper response is merely to submit. . . .
[5] Fear of Being “Disfellowshiped”
It is not uncommon in cults that people are urged to remain faithful to avoid being “disfellowshiped,” or disbarred, from the group. Again, the Jehovah’s Witnesses are a prime example, for a person can be disfellowshiped merely for questioning a Watchtower doctrine. . . .
[6] Threats of Satanic Attack
Finally, some cults use fear and intimidation to keep members in line. Members may be told that something awful will happen to them should they choose to leave the group. Others may be told that Satan will attack them and may even kill them, for they will have committed the unpardonable sin. Such fear tactics are designed to induce submission. Even when people do muster enough courage to leave the group, they may endure psychological consequences and emotional baggage for years to come.
Sadly, some Christian groups share these characteristics to some degree.
The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) is a movement which seeks to establish a fifth branch within Christendom distinct from Catholicism, Protestantism (which includes classical forms of Pentecostalism, the Charismatic movement, and Evangelicalism), Oriental Orthodoxy, the Church of the East, and Eastern Orthodoxy. The movement largely consists of churches nominally or formerly associated with Pentecostal denominations and Charismatic movements but have diverged from traditional or classical Pentecostal and Charismatic theology in that it advocates for the restoration of the lost offices of church governance, namely the offices of prophet and apostle.
Bethel Redding CA entertains demon possession during its satan-inspired services. It spreads its evil teachings worldwide, including "grave sucking" and other demon-inspired idiotic practices. A Bethel inspired sister church in Scandinavia has a "diaper man" wearing a diaper and dancing onstage.
As a citizen of the Branson, Missouri area, I was recently very unhappy to learn that Bethel's Bill Johnson came to the James River Church in Springfield, Missouri with his false religion in the spring of 2023. As a result, James River's John Lindell has claimed that prayer re-grew a woman's amputated toes during a service at James River Church. The alleged toe-regrowth event has drawn considerable attention on social media, with many expressing skepticism of the claims. Of course! Everyone certainly should express skepticism! This Bethel Redding show-garbage trickery needs to be exposed.
A number of short video's on the Kundalini / Demon Possession / N.A. R. page on this website will prove very educational to those who are uninformed on this subject. Please take the time to check the video's out.
A car ahead was moving like a turtle and not giving way inspite of my continuous honking! I was on the brink of losing my cool when I noticed the small sticker on the cars rear. It reads...
Physically challenged; Please be patient.
And that changed everything!! I immediately went calm and slowed down!! In fact I got a little protective of the car and the driver. I reached work a few minutes late, but it was ok! And then it struck me. Would I have been patient if there was no sticker!? Why do we need stickers to be patient with people!? Will we be more patient and kind with others if people had labels pasted on their foreheads? Labels like:
~ Lost my job
~ Fighting cancer
~ Going through a bad divorce
~ Suffering Emotional abuse
~ Lost a loved one
~ Feeling worthless
~ Financially messed up
.....and more like these.
Everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about. The least we can do is be patient and kind. We don't have to put people through the pressures of explaining over times before we understand their pains and offer our little best. As you go through each passing day always remember there's an invisible label on everyone. A simple virtue of patience may just be the respect you're according that invisible label. May your day be blessed!

--- However: Balance Your Responses Per God's Word ---
JUDGING BIBLICALLY
Most people, when confronted with a religious concept that goes against their habits and thinking, are quick to reply, "Judge not!" and insist that not judging them is the proper Christian response. They quote Matthew 7:1 - "Judge not, that ye be not judged." as their authority, but without taking the context of the whole passage into account. The form of judgement that Matthew 7:1 passage says not to do, is the kind of judgement that a person makes when against another person for a sin that they themselves are doing. It is hypocritical judgment. Taking the whole passage into account, not just the single verse, makes that more clear: Matthew 7:5 - "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."
The Bible indicates to boldly correct people in an effort to bring them to repentance. We should not judge hypocritically, or doubtful things, or things only by appearance, or things by only one passage, BUT WE ARE INSTRUCTED TO MAKE RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT ON THINGS THAT ARE MADE CLEAR IN THE BIBLE. The Bible says that we need to judge! We need to read ALL other relevant verses to get a correct overall view of judging as presented in total in the Holy Bible. We must take all relevant verses of the Bible into account to arrive at a full and balanced understanding of the "judging" issue.
John 7:24 - Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgement.
Correction, which often brings the "Judge not!" response, is NOT hypocritical judgement, as the Bible says that we should correct, rebuke and be bold to those who are sinning. Rebuking a sinner, exposing corruption, correcting someone IN LOVE or disciplining ones children is not judging wrongfully. People are more likely to take note and remember strong stirring words. Strong words cause people to repent and not remain lukewarm. Bold ministry can turn people off but they would probably turn away anyway and be considered by God to be lukewarm. Therefore, they probably would have been rejected by God anyway. In the Bible people mostly either turned well away or became repentant and committed believers, when confronted with the horrors of their sins. The proper course of action is to teach in the spirit of friendship first, but when the teaching falls on deaf ears, then rebuke and warnings of punishment from God are next in order. We should pray that the Holy Spirit guide us in our witnessing at all times as we witness to the unsaved.
1 Timothy 5:20 - Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
Luke 17:3 - Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
Titus 1:13 - This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.
Titus 2:15 - These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Bill Gaither INCORRECTLY Warns against Judging!
I love Southern Gospel music. But as with everything else, doctrine matters and discretion must be used when letting anything into our minds. The Gaithers have done wonders to make Southern Gospel popular, but there are problems within the movement. None of us are perfect, so we must each study things out per biblical instructions to arrive at satisfactory positions on all things questionable.
In an interview with Kim Jones, a tattooed female rocker who writes a column for the Roman Catholic publication Holy Spirit Interactive, Bill Gaither said:
“Finger pointing is never, I think, of God. Because I know that Scripture ‘judgment is mine, saith the Lord.’ When we get out of the judgment business and just get into the being business, the being what God wants us to be, it will take care of itself” (Holy Spirit Interactive, Dec. 6, 2004).
The level of biblical ignorance reflected by this statement is frightening, especially when we consider the vast influence that Bill Gaither wields among churches in this generation.
First of all, the Bible nowhere says, “Judgment is mine, saith the Lord.” It says, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord” (Rom. 12:19). The believer is taught to give place unto wrath and to avoid avenging himself upon his enemies, because that is strictly God’s business.
On the other hand, though the believer is forbidden to judge hypocritically (Mat. 7:1-5) and forbidden to judge in matters in which the Bible is silent in this dispensation (Rom. 14:1-5; Col. 2:16), as in matters such as diet and holy days, he is most definitely taught to judge things by testing them against the Word of God and condemning them if they are in error. The believer is to judge sin in the church (1 Cor. 5:12). He is to judge preaching and teaching (1 Cor. 14:29; Acts 17:11). He is to reprove the unfruitful works of darkness (Eph. 5:11). As a matter of fact the Bible says that “he that is spiritual judgeth ALL things” (1 Cor. 2:15). That is a very far-reaching statement. The spiritual man knows that he lives in a world of sin and spiritual darkness and error and he is warned repeatedly in the Bible about the danger of false teaching and apostasy and spiritual deception. Thus he carefully tests everything by the light of God’s Word. The spiritual man does not judge by his own thinking and opinion, but by the holy Word of God, which he has in the Scriptures.
Readers, never fall for, or accept, the many comments made Like "Don't judge me!" or "You shouldn't judge them." We judge things constantly, all the time, and just because it involves someone's beliefs or conduct, does not mean we should stop judging things for what they really are.
Righteous, correct judgement is a very necessary component of the Christian life. We need to become expert in knowledge and understanding of the Holy Scriptures. And then we need to be bold like the Apostles in witnessing the Gospel Message, exercising Godly judgement in all things, while clearly exposing the differences between Right and Wrong.
There are five cycles of judgment that God uses when withdrawing His protection from a nation or an individual. Step by step, sin results in the withdrawal of God's protection, which exposes the nation and the individual to greater and greater attack by demonic forces. These cycles, or stages, are described in Leviticus 26. The Bible points out that these judgments are automatic, and will not be stopped without the sin being repented of and rejected. And each judgment is declared to be seven times worse than the preceding judgment.
Cycle One is described in Leviticus 26:14-17. It is SICKNESS resulting from fear. It is a fact that we cannot escape from ourself. It is a fact that sinning produces negative feelings within oneself about oneself, a fear that can grow to border on terror. The sickness can be physical or mental, or both. This is when a determined and rebellious person will begin to harden ones heart and to build a false reality to justify ones sins. We see the plague of human casualties from this first cycle everywhere, all idolizing other things than God, movie stars, body decoration, piercing and scarring, and rampant drug use, for example.
Cycle Two is described in Leviticus 26:18-20. It is CROP FAILURE. Joel 1:1-5 also addresses this, showing that crop destruction can come in successively destructive waves. "That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworn eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten." These four types of locusts each act in a unique fashion. First, the palmerworm, "gazam" in Hebrew, meaning "to cut off," eats the tops right off the stalks, consuming the fruits or kernels. Second, the locust, "arbeh" in Hebrew, meaning "swarming locust," eats the stalks to leave only a stubble behind. Third, the cankerworm, "yeleq" in Hebrew, meaning "to lick up," does exactly that by consuming the stubble right down to the ground. Fourth, the caterpiller, "chaciyl" in Hebrew, meaning "the devourer," actually eats the seeds, the underground part of the plant. The result is a hopeless situation. Monsanto, genetically engineered crops, lack of rain and unstable weather patterns, and increasing instances of bird flu epidemics and other animal diseases should all come to ones mind.
Cycle Three is described in Leviticus 26:21-23. It is the DESTRUCTION OF THE OFFSPRING OF MAN AND BEAST. Verse 22 says that "wild beasts" will come in and ravage the nation, killing innocent children, and the young of the flocks and herds. The result will be the lessoning of the number of the people. Their ability to provide for themselves will be drastically reduced. Abortion, rampant child abuse, the incredible number of disappearing children and Satanic Ritual Abuse should come to mind. Propaganda and brainwashing leading couples to reject marriage and having children, to accept homosexuality and other GLBTQ+ perversions, and to limit offspring to lower numbers than can maintain the current population, are all indications of these "wild beasts" existing among the flock.
Cycle Four is described in Leviticus 26:23-26. It is MILITARY OCCUPATION. Here we see the nation overrun and controlled by a foreign power. The land is stolen. The rightful citizens of the land fall under the jack boots of domination. A military dictatorship is imposed upon them. Today our government is under the occupation of outside forces, Marxists, Socialists, Communists, New Agers and Muslims, and a President [O'Biden] that isn't even eligible to be our President by law. A coup is in progress, and as I write this, is winning! It is common knowledge, provable knowledge, that this occupier government is preparing for bloody social transformation, stocking weapons and ammunition, and preparing concentration camps. They "know" the economy is going to collapse. Perhaps they are even engineering the collapse. False flag operations have been a specialty of the occupiers all along.
Cycle Five is described in Leviticus 26:27-29. It is DESTRUCTION, CAPTIVITY AND ENSLAVEMENT IN A FOREIGN LAND. Scripture indicates that in the very last of the last Days that an Antichrist will arise that has the power to control all buying and selling, worldwide. That will be total tyranny. The technology exists to accomplish this, a technology that will allow an oppressive tyrant to simply delete you from the database if they should decide to do so. This predicted tyrant will kill as many Christians and Jews as he can during his reign of terror. How close is America to this destruction? Will we be the victims of a nuclear holocaust on the way to this eventuality? The world hates we who worship only One God and who frown on all others!
Is the United States headed for oblivion? Do our sins compare to Sodom and Gomorrah? The fact of the matter is that judgment does not come because everybody is not living for God. Nor does preservation come because everybody is living for God. Until the Lord returns for the final harvest of the Church Saints, the wheat and the tares will coexist. So then, what causes judgment to come? It is of the utmost importance to understand how to stand against this trend toward nation destruction by God's Judgments! We simply must understand how to save our country, or we are, as a nation, lost, doomed, and destined for slavery.
Judgment comes when the salt loses its savor. It isn't the immorality of the nation that causes judgment. It is the immorality of the Saints that causes judgment to fall on men and nations. When we Christians grow too fat and too lazy, twist bible-based doctrine, and neglect our duty to pray and stand in the gap, then we are tempting judgment. Ezekiel said in Ezekiel 22:30, "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
Prayer! Standing in the gap! Living and breathing as responsible Saints, that is the answer to saving America! The book of Joel is directed to the REMNANT, and in this era to you and to me. We have not been blessed because of our Constitution. We were blessed because our earliest immigrants and our Founders once stood in the gap, and prayed, arrayed against evil while actively pursuing righteousness. We are the salt within a sinful society, called and commissioned to pray for this nation and to stand on our feet as Christian soldiers properly outfitted with the Armour of God. But if the salt loses it savor it is only worth casting out. If we are good for nothing then we will be judged.
I challenge my fellow patriots to compare these stages of judgment to the recent history and conditions present in America today! We ARE being judged, and we HAVE been found wanting!
